How to make my PDF Accessible

  1. Open Acrobat Pro DC

  2. Open the PDF you need to update

  3. Click Tools





  1. Click on Accessibility





  1. Click Full Check






  1. Click Start Checking



  1. Open the Document Issues menu



  1. Click an issue that needs to be checked then click the options menu

  2. For Manual checks, click pass for items that make sense. If it doesn’t make sense fix the problem.

 Only use PDF’s that have all issues fixed and pass the ADA requirements.
